Module Brief

Game Interface Design

This module was all about the user interfaces we find within video games, mainly the importance of them and how much they actually convey to the player. We were tasked to create an interface for a game of any genre and theme of our choice. I decided to go with a horror/psychological themed RPG with a juxtaposing art style.

I did a lot of research into similar style games interfaces as well as interfaces of other genre's games and just the overall importance of interfaces to player experience. Below you can find a copy of my research document for this project which holds not only research but the planning and organising that went into this project including UI white-boxes.
